When Will We Be Able to Celebrate Health Freedom?

(The Best Years in LifeDr. Benjamin Rush (1745-1814) was a colonial physician who was the Surgeon General of the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. He opened the first free medical clinic at the Pennsylvania Hospital and was considered the “Father of American Medicine”.

He could also be considered a founding father since he signed the Declaration of Independence. But he did not sign the Constitution that was drafted in Philadelphia in 1787 to replace the Articles of Confederation and create a stronger central government to replace 13 independent states' confederacy arrangement.

Dr. Rush did not sign that document. He reportedly didn't even attend, but he knew what the document contained and didn't contain. Perhaps that's why he didn't sign or even attend the signing.
