About the Writers - Trygeania Dowell

I hold a Bachelor in mass communications/journalism with a minor in Spanish from Winston Salem State University.

I am a Christian single mom of four children, and I have 3 grandchildren. I have a big heart, and I believe in helping others. I like to spend my free time playing online games,  going to the mountains and hiking,  cooking out, swimming, fishing, spending time with my kids, and grand kids, and taking them to the park. I like to enjoy life.   I take time to exercise when I am able.  I do have some physical disabilities, which impair me from doing physical activity's at times.  However, I keep working on my health, I take supplements, exercise, and pray.  I believe I will be healed. I believe that if I lose weight, exercise, and eat healthy that most of my physical limitations will go away.

I created Toxic to Green  hoping to help people to make a lifestyle change, not only in the chemicals that are in the home, but in everything that is done.  I created it to educate people on toxins in our food, and in our environment.  I also created it to educate people on how to become a healthier person, and have a healthier home. It is not easy to be healthy in this world today. There are chemicals in our food, in our cleaning supplies, and in our air.  If it's not the chemicals then it is the bad eating habits that people have.  I am on a diet. I am trying to lose weight.  I know out of personal experience that in our fast paced world it's hard to drive past that fast food restaurant, especially when there are kids at home and your tired.

I am very thankful for Luella, my stepmom, who posts most of these blogs on here.  She writes what I cannot keep up with.  I work on many different sites, and I don't have much time to manage or blog on this site.  Sometimes I forget.  Luella, has a lot of good recipes, and a lot of great advice.  When I am working on my blogs sometimes I read hers for information.

I thank God for everything he has blessed me with.  He is the reason why I feel the need to educate people on toxins in our environment, and to help people to live a healthier life.  I believe God wants us to take care of our bodies.  I strive daily to take care of myself, and my home to the best of my abilities.  I also believe a relationship with God, and a prayer life is essential to our health.
