(The Best Years in Life) In a move that has shocked many prominent nutritionists, the American Society for Nutrition (ASN), “a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together the world’s top researchers, clinical nutritionists and industry” made a “scientific statement” in their publication, the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition that “processed foods make up an essential part of the American diet.”
