(Health Secrets) The need to provide more food to feed a hungry world is the usual justification for more GMOs, but what is behind world hunger is not lack of food. Instead it is effective distribution systems that are needed to distribute the bounty already being produced. According to the United Nations Food and Agriculture, estimates are that 1.43 billion tons of food are wasted every single year worldwide.
