Telling the Truth Becomes a Lie; FDA’s Persecution of Natural Health, Part I
The FDA strictly prohibits supplement manufacturers from making claims that a product prevents, cures or improves a disease condition or its associated symptoms. Further, the FDA has determined that only an FDA-approved drug can make such claims and that any supplement or other item which makes such claims automatically makes the item such claims are associated with “unapproved drugs” which much go through the FDA approval process – at a cost of hundreds of millions of dollars. However, it is important to note that such prohibitions are not according to actual constitutional law but rather according to arbitrary administrative rules enacted and published by the FDA.
